Receive Jesus

1) Your Paycheck:

God created us to be with Him, but our sins separated us from Him. God is just, and will not rip us off. We reap what we sow. He will give us just wages. The wages of sin is death. Just like you expect and deserve a paycheck after 40-hour workweek, after a life of sin, a human being deserves death. Good deeds don’t change that. The holiest standard to man, and the greatest ‘good works’, are as dirty as used tampons to God, because God is holy. In our own strength, we CANNOT obey God’s law. We each, we all, fall short. The Bible says that those who sin will go to hell.

2) Your Gift:

God is also Love, and He doesn’t want us to die. So He sent His only begotten Son to die in our place; receive our wages for us, and give us a free gift instead – eternal life. Remember, a gift is free only to the receiver. Someone has to pay for it. Jesus paid for your gift with His Blood. Because He was a perfect man, He could die for other men. He rose from the dead three days after He was brutally murdered on a cross. Hundreds saw Him; many still see Him today. Eternal life is available for YOU. But we all know that a package at your door or a gift under the tree with your name on it only helps you if you pick it up, open it, and use it.

3) Your Choice:

The simple way to receive your free gift (Romans 10:9, 1 John 4:15) is a) admit that you are responsible for excluding God from your life and disobeying His law; b) open your mouth and say ‘Jesus Christ is Lord’, c) Believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead. It’s that simple. From that moment, eternal life begins. Put your total trust in Him alone – not your pastor, parents, friends, or yourself.

4) Your Move:

Ready to receive this gift? Say a short prayer, in your own words. It could be something like this:

“Father in heaven, I confess that I am a sinner. I’ve lived my life for me. I realize that none of my works and achievements can ever get me into heaven. I’m sorry for my sins and for the life I’ve lived. Please forgive me. I want a new beginning with You. With all my heart, I believe Jesus died in my place and is alive. From this moment on, I choose to trust Him alone. Jesus, You’re alive, so I know You can hear me. You are my Lord. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Help me to obey You and do Your will every day. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

5) A party for YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Write to us so we can pray together, celebrate, and try to help you get plugged in to a healthy church.

“I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.” – Luke 15:7.
