Toyin (His Apprentice)
Toyin was born the 4th of 5 children on a beautiful, blessed September night. She went to church, even was a part of the choir, but never really knew God until she was an adult.
“I can say God always had his eye on me. I had a grandmother who made it a rule that church was every sunday come rain or shine. Even the times I would pretend to be fast asleep, she would drag me by my arms out of bed. I wasn’t saved then but I attended all the services (Sunday and weekly) and was even part of the choir. I got my first true glimpse of God when i started Secondary school in Nigeria. I had a school mother who was a true believer and as her daughter, she always shared the gospel with me. All these led up to the fateful day, I gave my life to Christ. I knew there was something more to life that what i was living and my heart truly desired it. God broke me and took me into the wilderness to show me who he truly was. I have never been the same again and I love the Lord with allmy heart, all my might and all my soul.”
Toyin is a doctor and her title, “The Apprentice,” comes from the fact that she is under the tutelage of the Great Physician.
