A Message From God
Hello beautiful ladies,
Do you know you have value? Do you know that you were bought at price? Do you know you are beautiful? Do not underestimate your worth! There are haters in this world. When you make your mark, you will always attract some haters. When God gives you favor, you can tell your haters “Dont look at me… look at who is incharge of me!” As Maya Angelou so wisely put it “Our hearts should be so hidden in Christ that a man should have to seek Him first to find us.”
I recently came across these gems which lifted me up and I am going to share them with you. I don’t know who wrote this but its priceless!though I must admit I added a few of my own. This piece is titled Rules from God.
1. Wake Up!
Decide to have a good day. Don’t let anyone or any circumstance dictate how your day should be.
Psalms 118:24 This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.
Phillipians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again rejoice!
2. Dress Up.
The best way to dress up is to put on a smile. We are wonderfully and fearfully made. The Lord looked at each of us and He saw that we are very good.
Psalms 139:14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made, I know that full well.
3. Shut Up!
Say nice things and learn to listen. God gave us two ears and one mouth so He must have meant for us to do twice as much listening as talking. Remember the proverb ‘Speech is silver and silence is golden’.
Proverbs 13:3 He who guards his lips guards his life, but he who speaks rashly will come to ruin.
4. Stand Up!
Stand up for what you believe in. Stand up for something or you will fall for anything.
Galatians 6:9-10 Let us not become weary of doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
5. Look Up
Look up to the Lord.
Phillipians 4:13 I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.
6. Reach Up
Reach up for something higher.
Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight.
7. Lift Up your prayers.
Phillipians 4:6 And the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Psalms 46:1 God is our refuge and strength an ever present help in times of trouble.
I hope this message has blessed you. God is always with us every step of the way and He loves us unconditionally. If you are going through a tough time or you are feeling insecure remember these verses and have faith that the Lord is with you and it is your character that He is moulding.
I will end with another quote from Maya Angelou (I truly admire this woman) which says “Fulfill your dreams! You only have one life to live…when it is your time to leave this earth you want to be able to say, ‘I have lived my life and fulfilled my dreams…now am ready to go home!’ ”
Blessings and love, ladies.
You are beautiful!
